This case study was conducted to review and improve the user experience of Marriott.com and make recommendations for improvements to the user experience for guests who rely on these digital assets to do business with Marriott.
User research is a critical part of the design process. The purpose of user research is to get a better understanding of the guest’s needs, attitudes, behaviors, and motivations when they are using the website and smartphone app. Through that understanding, we can create a design that meets Marriott’s expectations and the needs of its users.
